Description

looked like a scraped up, dull gray rock, but it had a weird looking crystal structure so I took it home. It glows amber in the light, which is really cool. Wish I could make a night light out of it :P

I didn't know calcite could grow crystals in this fashion either, but my prof. verified it. I've only ever seen it in rather large rhomboid looking crystals and I'm kind of n00b and dumb.
